As a womxn of color, I understand the external factors of systemic oppression that impact your career, relationships, and mental health. That’s why your social identities as a womxn, a person of color, LGBTQIA2S+, or any other social identity that affects how you navigate the world will be acknowledged, centered, and honored in the coaching experience. Together, we will peel back the layers of social conditioning to understand how your unique perspectives can be celebrated and leveraged to help you SOAR!
Experiencing career success does not mean that you are emotionally fulfilled. In fact, it is common to experience a mid-life epiphany where you realize you climbed the wrong ladder or that the ladder was leaning on the wrong building. It’s also common to crave a pivot in your career so you can opt out of the hustle culture, leave biased environments, and use your unique talents in fulfilling ways.
So, if you are asking yourself “what’s my purpose” or “what am I doing with my life” that may be a sign that you want to SOAR Higher.
Starting a business or an organization is exciting, and it’s a journey that few people understand. I have been there, and I know the loneliness, the challenges, and how the childhood gremlins rear their ugly heads. I also know how difficult it is to balance the needs of an emerging company so that the culture aligns with your vision. If this resonates, please know that you are not alone. My team and I can walk that journey with you so you build and lead an organization that embodies the change you want to see in the world.

What created the most significant changes in my life? Not education or money, but courageous liberation. When I started to shed societal shoulds and challenge what I was taught and told about who I was and what I could be, my life changed. I transformed and evolved into a more authentic version of myself. But It was not easy because I had unknowingly internalized many cultural messages about what it meant to be a woman, an African American, a leader, a business owner, a minister, and a mom. And those cultural assumptions and old beliefs were psychological prisons that kept me locked into mindsets and traditions that made me shrink. That is why I am committed to self-discovery because self-discovery precedes liberation, and liberation leads to true fulfillment.
